Welcome

We are pleased to be judged by Ofsted to be a Good school and have improved further since the last inspection… but we are so much more than that.

We are a school with many strengths (and some areas still to work on) and our children achieve good standards of learning at Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in line with primary schools nationally.  We also embrace the arts and PE, and we work hard for the children and with the children to deliver a really rich curriculum that includes residential trips for every child in Key Stage 2, day trips out, participation in competitive sports and a range of after school clubs lead by the school’s staff and sports coaches.

No doubt you’ll be keen tAdam Evanso support your children at home. Daily reading is really important to us as it really helps children become good readers, so do hear your children (of all ages) every day. We’ve also noticed that our children need more secure knowledge of addition and subtraction facts to 20, as well as their times tables, so it’d be a great help if you could also support your children with this at home. Pop in to see your child’s teacher to find out which areas your child may need support and for fun ideas on how to help.

If you are interested in our school then do read the Ofsted report, look at the league table results, talk to parents in our community… but most of all please do arrange a visit to really find out more about us.
